NASA's Curiosity Mars rover used its navigation cameras, or Navcams, to capture this panorama while driving through the narrow Paraitepuy Pass on Aug. 11, 2022, the 3,560th Martian day, or sol, of the mission.

NASA's Curiosity Mars rover used its navigation cameras, or Navcams, to capture this panorama of the narrow "Paraitepuy Pass" on Aug. 11, 2022, the 3,560th Martian day, or sol, of the mission. The pass, with hills in the distance, can be seen on the left side of the scene. The hill in the center of this scene is "Bolívar"; "Deepdale" is on the far left of the scene. The crater floor is visible in the background of the right side of the panorama.

Curiosity was built by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which is managed by Caltech in Pasadena, California. JPL leads the mission on behalf of NASA's Science Mission Directorate in Washington.
