PIA23892: Science on the Horizon
Michael Tuite and Rachel Kronyak of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory served as part of the desert field team, sending images and data for review by scientists who will work with NASA's Perseverance Mars rover.

Michael Tuite and Rachel Kronyak of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in a dry lakebed in the Nevada desert. During the February 2020 exercise, they served as part of a field team that stood in as Mars a rover, receiving commands to seek out images and other data for review by scientists who will work with NASA's Perseverance Mars rover.
