RoboSimian, a limbed robot developed by engineers at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, competed in the DARPA Robotics Challenge Trials in Florida in December 2013. The RoboSimian team is led by JPL. Stanford University, Palo Alto, Calif., collaborated on the development of the robot's unique hands.
