MGS MOC Release No. MOC2-571, 11 December 2003 This October 2003 Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC) image shows gullies cut into debris on the southeast-facing wall of an old meteor impact crater in southeastern Hellas Planitia. This view is located near 44.5°S, 277.0°W. The 200 meter scale bar is approximately 656 feet across; the picture is illuminated from the upper left.
