24 December 2005 This Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC) image shows a full-resolution (1.5 meters/5 feet per pixel) view of an old meteor impact crater, somewhat filled with sediment. This crater is located near a larger crater, Newcomb, in far northern Noachis Terra. Location near: 22.1°S, 1.1°W Image width: ~1 km (~0.6 mi) Illumination from: upper left Season: Southern Spring
