This Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC) picture shows details on large lava flows in the Tharsis volcanic region of Mars. The image is located near 25.4N, 123.7W. The picture covers an area about 3 km (1.9 mi) across. Sunlight illuminates the scene from the lower left.
